Case manager

Position Summary:? Provides case management; documents all services provided in a timely manner; participates in treatment team meetings as necessary; facilitates visitation; coordinates medical, dental care; coordinates educational/ancillary services; clinical data entry (maintaining databases); surveys, and maintains other clinical forms.
Skills/Abilities:? Ability to work as a team member; being a self-starter is a must; organizational skills; clear, direct communication skills; required to work flexible hours inclusive of weekends.? Familiarity with all state, local and regulatory agency standards and regulations.?
Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor degree required in?human services (e.g. social work) from a four-year university.? Two to three years related experience and/or training preferred.

  • Minimum of one-year experience and an understanding of program regulations and working in a capacity of interaction with both employees and agencies.

  • This individual must have knowledge of basic office management functions and office procedures; along with corporate writing techniques and word processing techniques.? Must maintain flexibility in a fast-paced changing environment.


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
